This replica grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto is located next to the Iberia Parish Library in New Iberia, Louisiana. It was built for the Christian Brothers of St. Peter’s College in 1941 by architect Eugene Guillot. The grotto is the only standing structure left of the college. An inscription located near the grotto says it was constructed “in grateful memory of the pioneer families of New Iberia and in gratitude to God for his abundant blessings on the Teche country.”
