The Morris Farms Partnership harvests sugarcane in fields near Lafiton Road just north of Port Allen, La. The fourth-generation farming family will harvest 2,200 acres of sugarcane this year. The Morris Farms partnership also participates in sugarcane research by allowing part of their farm to be used as a secondary station.
