Holy Cross School is a college preparatory school and has the New Orleans community for over 160-years. In 2005 the school was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The new 20-acre school campus was dedicated in March of 2010. Holy Cross School enjoys a distinction of being the second oldest sustained foundation worldwide in the Congregation of Holy Cross, second only to the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, founded in 1842.
