The Maison Chenal pigeonnier is viewed from Chenal Road in Pointe Coupee Parish. For over 50-years Dr. Jack and Pat Holden have researched and collected historical artifacts of 18th and 19th century Louisiana. The extensive collection resides on 110 acres in Pointe Coupee Parish with two main houses: Maison Chenal, a circa 1790 West Indies style Louisiana Creole house and the Nicholas LaCour House, built in the mid-1700’s.
