Together Baton Rouge volunteer Leah Conquorgood reviews Geanne Petsch's FEMA application during visit Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016. Geanne's husband, Pete Petsch, is under hospice care and is uncomfortable with having volunteers gut his flood damaged home. The couple have been married 53-years and have lived the last 38-years in their Sherri Lane home. The Baton Rouge Area Foundation donated $250,000 to Together Baton Rouge to create 100 jobs paying $15 per hour for house-gutting and mold remediation. Together Baton Rouge is gutting the homes of families with the greatest need, the elderly, disabled and families with children.
