  • Sweet Olive Cemetery, located in the heart of Mid City, is the oldest African-American cemetery in Baton Rouge. The cemetery located at North Boulevard and 22nd Street is in dire need of major repair. The Mid City Redevelopment Alliance hosts many volunteers events but the need is overwhelming.

The fourth-floor of the new library has a large meeting room suitable for training, meetings or special events. The room can hold up to 200 people and has dual projectors, screens and smart podium.
