  • Leoda Bladsacker, an islander, who has lived on Grand Isle all her life, now spends time with her sister Barbara Howell. Howell recently moved back to Grand Isle after being away for 26-years. She came back to be with her family. The sisters are descendents of the Chighizola family which is one of the first families to settle on the island.
